The Creative Project Development Program identifies, encourages, and supports innovative and diverse creative projects that advance the mission of Empower The Creative through development, production, and education.
We believe many extraordinary artistic works never reach their full potential, not because of a lack of talent or vision, but because the resources needed to develop them are often difficult to obtain.
Through the program, Empower The Creative identifies promising projects and creative talent, encourages charitable support for their development, and provides resources to artists, organizations, and creative teams whose work reflects our mission.
How projects reach us
Projects may be brought to Empower The Creative through a proposal from an artist, organization, or creative team, or may be identified by our Board as work worthy of consideration.
Each project is reviewed to determine its:
- Artistic value
- Development needs
- Alignment with our mission
- Potential for meaningful creative impact
By investing in the development process, we help give great ideas the opportunity to become great work.
